Chicago Dreamin'

I just want to say that I will be so glad to be all moved in at our apartment in Chicago. We are going back up there on Saturday but only for five days. If everything goes as planned with our lease and job interviews we will be moving officially on the last day of this month. There are a lot of expenses that go into moving. Especially when you are moving across the country. Its all okay though and I am sure it will be totally worth it. I just won't have any interesting purchases to show you guys for awhile. No one wants to see boxes and packing tape :)

On another note, two of my good friends Tyler and Jamie just had birthdays and the party is Tuesday. I wish I could explain how I am going to do their cake properly.. But I guess I will just show you pictures of the completed project. That is, if I can get it all finished in time. It is a big cake with a lot of detail and I work everyday until the party.. Maybe I should use a sick day.. If only we had those. Nope, no paid sick days for us. It is too much hassle to call in for a shift where I work because you have to find someone to take that shift and honestly, who wants to give up their day off?

Ugh.. Off to do some gumpaste work.
